The Village of South River is seeking to hire a Seasonal Part-Time Snow Plow Operator. The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual who can work independently, is able to problem solve, and takes pride in their work and care of equipment. The position reports directly to the Chief Public Works Operator.

This role primarily involves snow plowing and sanding Village streets during the overnight shift from midnight to 8 am.

Qualifications

• Experience operating equipment relevant to snow plowing
• References demonstrating equipment operating experience

Additional Information

The hourly wage rate is currently $25.98, in accordance with the CUPE Local 4616-03 Collective Agreement, plus an on-call allowance of $500 per month for weather monitoring and related on-call responsibilities.
